In the assembly shop, the President inspected new models of municipal vehicles. The vehicles’ know-how is their firefighting capability. The equipment is intended not only for large cities, but also for remote settlements where there are no fire stations. The cost of the vehicles is up to 11 million tenge.
The Head of State then reviewed projects being implemented in the region under the State Program of Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development. Regional Akim Nurlan Nogayev reported to the President on the progress of the industrialization program. Nursultan Nazarbayev spoke with entrepreneurs of the region.
“The Business Road Map 2020 program is unique. No one else has anything like it. Everywhere people are surprised that we support business so strongly. The number of entrepreneurs has increased by 20%,” N. Nazarbayev noted.
The Head of State spoke about the advantages of another state program for business. “The Affordable Housing program is a Klondike for businesspeople. Construction requires glass, doors and bricks. The region received 6 billion tenge to implement the Affordable Housing program. We will rent it out. Your task is to involve unemployed young people and train them in a profession,” the President said.
At the Uralskagroremmash plant, Nursultan Nazarbayev was assured that the enterprise’s capabilities make it possible to supply not only the domestic market, but also external markets. The enterprise is currently loaded at only 35%.
We are fulfilling all the tasks set by the Head of State. Production is being modernized and technically re-equipped. More than 600 vehicles manufactured by us operate throughout Kazakhstan. The plant has introduced a special-purpose vehicle production shop and a hot-dip galvanizing shop. We are purchasing modern equipment under the Business Road Map 2020 and SPIID programs,” said Gimran Bisenov, President of Uralskagroremmash JSC.
The President stated that local enterprises must pay special attention to product quality so that it can compete with world-class goods.
