Reliable metal structures and developed infrastructure are required to transmit energy over long distances. They are used for electrical, gas and heat networks and for communications that deliver energy to consumers.

Use of metal structures

The plant manufactures metal structures for transformer substations and power transmission lines. One of the key elements of power lines is the metal support.

Supports for power transmission lines

  • angle supports make it possible to change the direction of a power line;
  • intermediate supports hold wires and cables on different sections of the line;
  • anchor supports are used on straight sections and withstand high tension;
  • end supports begin or terminate a line and hold strong one-sided tension.

The plant also produces branch, wind-resistant, transposition and crossing supports. Metal supports are comparable in strength to reinforced concrete, are lighter, withstand high loads, are convenient to transport and install, and serve for a long time thanks to anti-corrosion treatment.
